Family Financial Credit Union Annual Scholarship

Family Financial Credit Union is proud to support the educational aspirations of our young members through our annual scholarship program. Open to graduating high school seniors planning to attend a college, university, or trade school in the fall of 2026, this scholarship embodies our core values of Empowerment, Pride, Integrity, and Community.

We believe in empowering students by easing their financial barriers, encouraging pride in their achievements, upholding integrity in our commitment to their future, and strengthening our community through education. At FFCU, we encourage students to “Be EPIC” as they pursue their dreams with confidence and financial support.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a high school graduating student who plans to enroll in continued education at an accredited college, university, or trade school program.

Applicants must be:

  • A Family Financial Credit Union member as of January 1, 2026, and have an account in good standing.

  • Live, work, or attend high school in one of our chartered counties in Michigan (Muskegon, Oceana, Ottawa, Newaygo, Allegan, Kent, Mason, or Montcalm).

Awards

Recipients will be awarded one of two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each. Awards are one-time only, non-renewable, and is to be applied to tuition and educational costs incurred.

Application Information

Interested and eligible students must complete an application and submit it to Family Financial Credit Union. Applications must be submitted in one of the following ways:

  • Printed and turned into any FFCU branch by April 10th, 2026 at 5pm.

  • Mailed and postmarked by April 10th, 2026 to Family Financial Credit Union, Attn: Scholarship Committee, 3575 Henry Street, Muskegon, MI 49441.

  • Emailed to marketing@ff-cu.org by April 10th, 2026 at 5pm in PDF format.
